This opportunity will be open again at the end of the year with applications opening in November 2024, for an exhibition in 2025.

We warmly invite artists to submit proposals for a solo or group exhibition in February 2024 in our newly refurbished 1853 Gallery.

We are looking for an exciting body of work that pushes artistic boundaries and hasn’t previously been exhibited.

This open call will be added to our annual calendar, kicking off each new year of activities with a fresh exhibition that’s never been seen before.

Application Deadline: 5 Dec (At midnight)

Exhibition Dates: 9 - 18th February 2024

Preview Night: 8 February 2024

We will give particular consideration to those who live, work or were born in Oldham, however this is not a priority this year.

We encourage artists of all mediums to apply (including 3D, digital and performance). We welcome applications from artists at any stage of their career.
