The 3rd phase of studio building has begun in Mill 2
1853 studios are expanding! We are building brand new studios on the top floor of Mill 2 that have larger square footage than before. Some of these studios have large windows with high ceilings like in Mill 1, bringing in amazing natural lighting with a great view that looks over Manchester, but if you are looking for more of a controlled lighting then we have studios without windows that still offer plenty of space. We are also now working on building a second Gallery space within Mill 2 studios that is bigger, self contained and with natural light.
A new large industrial lift has been installed
This creates easy access to the top floor so you don’t have to carry heavy equipment up those flight of stairs to your studio. Your safety and safety of your art is important to us so we have cameras at the entrance as well as installing our very own sprinkler and fire alarm systems in place to be extra safe, as the studios are open seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day so you can let your creativity flow whenever is best for you.
No car? No problem, we are only a ten minute walk from Westwood metro link, as well as several bus routes passing through from all major local areas. So if you are interested in moving into your perfect studio, we are now open to enquiries!
